With the recent chatter about the possible name change in the Southern Baptist Convention, I wanted to do a brief amount of polling concerning this idea.

For personal research only, please answer these questions for me:

1.) Do you agree with changing the name of our denomination to ‘Great Commission Baptists’ or keeping the ‘Southern Baptist’ title?

2.) What is your age?

3.) Have you always been SBC, or, are you a ‘transplant’ from another denomination? If a transplant, what denomination were you originally?

4.) Do you align more with Reformed or Non-Reformed Theology?

Please share this post with your friends for more results! Thanks in advance!

      1. Let’s change the name! Would much rather explain to others why we are named Great Commission Baptist than why we are Southern Baptists.
